Girls on the Run Shenandoah Valley was awarded the 2024 Celebrating Healthy West Virginia on September 18th at Glade Springs Resort. We were one of several organizations recognized for our work in helping girls adopt healthy lifestyles in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. We are honored to be one of the organizations recognized at the event.
CHWV is a program the WV State Health Department and partners developed to recognize the efforts organizations like yours are making across our state to make it a healthier place to live, learn, work, eat, and play.
We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Non-profit girl empowerment after-school program for girls.
