The Shenandoah Community Foundation has announced its 2024 Community Grants awards. This year, the Foundation awarded $65,600 to 30 non-profit organizations. The grants will support important and innovative programs and activities that reflect the Foundation’s six priority areas: arts and culture, civic affairs, environment, education, health, and family, child, and social welfare.

Girls on the Run Shenandoah Valley received an award of $1,000 for scholarships in the Shenandoah County area. The grant helps to remove the financial barrier for families to participate.  The grant will help us to continue to offer scholarships/financial aid to any girl who needs one to particpate in the program.
